I want to show you how to get your first Software Developer job. I want this adventure to be more like an afternoon conversation with me in my living room rather than a teacher/student interaction. I may be more informal and relaxed than you are used to.
I am going to make a bold claim. If you have at least some skills in any form of writing software (average to expert) and you follow my instructions closely and are patient, you have a better than 90% chance of landing your job within one year.
There are no shortcuts. Do things in the order I present them for best results.
If you’ve read any self help books in the past, you may have come across many "gurus" who have made similar claims. But here is how I am different. At the end of this book, I will leave my contact email. I will mentor you for free until you get your first job.
